A large number of trust companies and banks located in tax havens offer trust services that include a fairly wide range of trusteeship, management and related services. The trusteeship services include:

• acting as trustee of settlements
• providing nominee shareholders, directors and other officers
• acting as trustee for debenture holders
• attending to statutory requirements
• acting as custodian trustee for pension funds
• attending to the maintenance of financial records
