G7

The meeting of the finance ministers from the group of seven industrialised nations of the world several times a year to discuss economic policy. The members of G7 are:

• Canada
• France
• Germany
• Italy
• Japan
• United Kingdom
• United States of America

G7 should not be confused with G8, which is when the Heads of government of the aforementioned nations plus Russia meet once a year.
